1963+ for Mk1 Cooper S, but has Mk3 onwards door (winding windows, no hinges) so may be a newer car with retro MK1 rear lights etc. |

KLE 767D is a Triumph Vitesse that appears in "One Day": /vehicle_420162-Triumph-Vitesse-6-1966.html However, the actual number plates on the Mini are the same ones seen on the Triumph in that film. |

Number Plate KLE 767D is also seen on a Rolls Royce at 22.38 after announcement of Helmuth Koinigg's crash during practice at the 1974 United States Grand Prix. |

Turns out to be a 1985 Mini Mayfair which has been retro-converted as Cooper S lookalike. Sold on ebay in Feb 2014 for £11,200. "Up for auction is the Mini from RUSH the movie.... originally a 1985 Mayfair but totally rebuilt into a Cooper S replica. I have the receipts from the company that hired out the car and the Registration Plates from the movie too. .... The spec: 1380ccc A+ Metro engine, 10 inch minilite style alloys, 78bhp as tested on a braked rolling road. On an inertia rolling road it would have been 100bhp easy." |
