The car looks like a late-1960's full-size Pontiac. I'm more curious about the train crossing the road, though. |

Canadian sourced, Australian assembled 1968 Pontiac Laurentian/Parisienne. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pontiac_Parisienne#Exports -- Last edit: 2013-10-04 14:09:03 |

The train is a Comeng. It was assembled in Melbourne in the late 1970's. The green and yellow logo meant the railways were run by the government in the 1990's before it was privatised in 1999. -- Last edit: 2013-10-05 14:25:38 |

Ah, yes. Here we go: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comeng_(train) It kind of reminded me of those pictures of the old Budd railcars used by Miami Metrorail... except that they're all powered by third rails. -- Last edit: 2013-10-04 20:51:56 |

Taken at Victoria St. Crossing in Brunswick. The manual gates seen here were changed to auto in 1998. |

Same exact vehicle (identical plate) appears in the first episode of Halifax f.p. from 1994: /vehicle_672680-Pontiac-Parisienne-1968.html |
