Looks like a two-door Fiat 131 with the trunk removed. |

Weren't these scale models? I am pretty sure no car exists with such combination rear-window/spoiler... -- Last edit: 2013-10-07 22:22:23 |

Yes, they are all scale models. I just wasn't sure if they were based on something real as the other cars are. Probably the same as the other white unknown car. |

I don't think CGI was advanced enough back then to make realistic looking cars. |

Well, it started back then: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zCMhxI81ts |

CGI "started" much earlier than that, for sure. I mean, Toy Story was released the same year as the linked video - and that still looks great by today's standards. -- Last edit: 2013-10-08 09:53:20 |

You find that Toy Story looks as realistic as the car seen here? It is possibly a scale model, like others in the movie |

No, I was comparing the CGI of Toy Story to that of the linked video, which was said by Ingo to have been the starting point for CGI (which is not true, of course). The car in the above pic is not CGI which makes it not comparable. |

No that's a silver Lynx 5-door. This looks like a Chevette 3-door |
