 Judging by the fact that all other vehicles in this series are from the US or Canada, this should be called "Convertible".

 As Walter said, it is a convertible version of the Golf II, which didn't exist. The equivalent Cabriolet/Convertible at that time was a restyled Golf I. We could list it as "Custom-made Convertible" then
