Anybody find a fleet number for this one?

I've got to find an excuse to ride an articulated bus when I get back to NYC.

They tried them in London from 2002, but they were all gone by 2011. New double deckers are being introduced to replace them.

I can't imagine trying to drive a vehicle of length on London streets, even if it does bend in the middle. :wow:

Ever see combined double-decker articulated buses?

One of the problems with the London ones was their tendency to catch fire. I've never heard of an articulated double decker bendy bus, let's hope it never happens. The drivers of the buses were OK with the London streets, but cyclists coming through on the left were occasionally the subject of accidents.

There are a few lines with articulated bus in Brussels since a lot of years, so for me it is a common sight

Until last year National Express West Midlands was operating M-B O405GN artics in Birmingham; they now use Scania Omnicity Artics. The Coventry garage uses M-B O530G Citaros.

The only articulated doubledecker, I know is the Neoplan Jumbocruiser, but they only made 10 of it:

My city, Austin, is getting its first articulated buses next year (Novabus LFX)

Do we have any bi-articulated or double-articulated buses listed on IMCDb? There's this one in comments.

@andrepa: thanks for the info, but my question is about S 415 GT's comment for the Swiss made Hess bus. If those are in use in Germany.
In my plate-forum we had comments about some communities in Saxonia, which had ordered some Saurer-town buses in the 90ies, but a Hess I've never seen here.

In Hamburg, they use two of the lighTram hybrids:

The regular Hess articulated buses are also used in Dresden, Leipzig and some cities in the ruhr area.
