That’s no way to treat a Travel Trailer, even if it is an old crappy one. |

A lot of old European caravans end up rotting anyway (there's a lot of wood in them). |

Oh, it was a popular "sport" in the Netherlands (I remember it from the TV in the 80ies): demolition-stock-car-races with camping-trailers! And annother special Dutch version of demolition-races: driving backwards. This class was for nearly 100% in the hand of DAF-cars. @Neptune: btw., in Europe, at least in Germany, it's not easy and quite expensive to get of a rotten camping-trailer! The scrap-dealers don't like them, because there is too much garbage around the little bit of metal, the car-dismantlers don't like them for the same reason, and the city-dumps, resp. recycling-stations don't accept them, because they are vehicles. So if you cannot sell them to building-companies as a site-hut or to a farmer as a chcken's house, you better smash it into pieces and put the splinters into the garbage-bin. Week by week... And if you demolish an old trailer anyways, but better make it on a funny way. ![]() |
