The telephone box looks like a French one with the final "e" of "telephone" covered up. |

You are right Gag Halfrunt! Paint on the road is white, a colour which started to replace the yellow in 1972, and Corona RT40 was homologated by the French "service des mines" in may 1967 (and for only 50 pieces), so the scene was probably not taken in France |

It's the same studio backlot (Elstree or Borehamwood, IIRC) used in "The Saint" and several other series. I imagine that the telephone box was left over from something requiring a French setting. -- Last edit: 2006-11-06 17:33:26 |
