Edit: in response to Sandie's comment below, I believe these alloys were introduced in 1999. We can see another Aussie 1999 model with these same wheels here: /vehicle_707167-Land-Rover-Defender-110-Station-Wagon-1999.html Air conditioning, as far as I'm aware, was always available as an option on Australian Defenders.
