Agreed! The upside is it does get a proper burial at sea, and it still is in tact before it goes to its resting place. Hopefully, there was only ONE film car and that multiples were not wrecked. That being said, maybe something less that nice was "deep sixed"? San Francisco Bay isn't a place where you want to put gasoline and automotive fluids x 3 (the Bug floats, remember), but then again, Peter Bogdanovich did permanently damage the steps when all four cars "turn left here".....If he wasn't concerned about that public property, why would he care about the Bay? |
