Definately not a 1990 model I think it's a 1977-1979 model based on that grill and amber turn signals |

But I saw a door mounted seat belt! I even kept a screen cap for the occasion! |

An older one indeed: http://youtu.be/0ee1QuwmKeo?t=29m52s |

It's an 80-90 body all right. You can tell by the closeness of the door handles to the window sills @Gamer word of advice; any additional images that can contribute to identification should be added. -- Last edit: 2013-11-18 19:48:20 |

Appears to be an86 Caprice based on the turn signals, unless its some bondo bucket. |

Usually a single picture is enough with a view like that |

Has to be Caprice. Impala indicators don't wrap around. the range is 1981-85. And maybe 1986 I can't see the front too well. Eggcrate=1981-85, 1986's have the chrome divider bar in the grille, iirc. -- Last edit: 2013-11-19 02:28:20 |

This is a 1980-85 Chevrolet Caprice Classic. The front light bezels are specific to the Caprice in those years. 1980 Caprice's had a slightly different grille pattern from the 1981-85 Cars. The 1980 cars basically had smaller recteangle grille sections. Due to the low resolution of this photo, I cannot make out the grille pattern clear enough to say if it's a 1980 or a 1981-85 grille. 1980 Caprice grille: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" 1981-85 grille: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" -- Last edit: 2013-11-19 03:01:28 |

Yet we have half a dozen guesses here, all of which include some modifications. -- Last edit: 2013-11-19 04:39:06 |

Geez, the front grille and headlights indicate a 1980-1985 Caprice Classic. |

^^ I did post a link to the actual scene where the vehicle appeared for anyone who wanted to ID it to peruse so there wasn't really that much need for extra views here. Of course I only did this as I had realised getting extra views from Gamer is as unlikely as finding an attractive woman in my bed tonight. Ordinarily, though I agree it is useful to have more thumbs. I actually think it is more necessary when the pics are YouTube quality as details can be difficult to make out from certain angles. -- Last edit: 2013-11-19 05:19:39 |

It's missing an awful lot of trim and molding to be a Caprice Classic. Maybe we should just delete; its not as if the site doesn't literally have hundreds of examples of all the possibilities. By the way after watching the clip I noticed it doesn't have a CHMSL: so it's much more likely a 80-85 Impala rebuilt with a Caprice front end. -- Last edit: 2013-11-19 07:28:16 |

Or it could be a Caprice painted up as a cab for the movies, where they removed all the Caprice trim. I'd say as it stands in the photo 1980-85 Caprice is the most accurate description. |

what? It has a role, it is well visible, I do not see why it should be deleted. Or you mean delete the model name, listing it as just Chevrolet? |
◊ 2013-11-19 17:28 |
^Yes perhaps that is the most logical answer; as it certainly a rebuilt bondo bucket. |
