Post-war Henschel developed a kit to replace the original petrol engine with a new diesel from the german company. Usually the GMCs so modified sported the Henschel Diesel badge. |

In the Netherlands, for CCKWs working on the Delta Plan in the 60s, they transplanted all sorts of Diesels: I remember seeing DAF, Kromhout, Leyland, Mercedes-Benz ... and yes, Henschel. |
