It looks somehow to me a Studebaker with an altered front end. At the time Italians were literally crazy for Studes and some Italian coach builders modified them even to create wagon versions... ...or an US Ford Corporation product ??? -- Last edit: 2013-11-27 16:49:24 |

I am thinking this is a fairly stock 1947 Studebaker Commander. |

This looks to be a 1947 Studebaker Commander Convertible. The shadows and reflections from this angle make it look strange but it comes across as a stock model. |

I'm actually inclined to say this is a '49. While a clearer photo would help greatly, I just do not see a 1947 style bumper and the ends appear to wrap around as they did starting in '49. There is even the suggestion of a heavy chrome center plate in the grille, another '49 feature. Changing to 1949 pending dissent. |
