cko ◊ 2020-09-01 06:43	In the shots of the car burning, it looks like its in rougher shape or they used a different car for the torching. It has older, weak paint and it certainly looks like a bit of rust along the bottom.

62imperial ◊ 2023-05-11 09:59	Examining it closer, now that the movie's on YT, the burning car has a much taller trunk lid and the belt line slopes downward. There's no "tulip panel" between the trunk and the top opening, and the top frame is a mockup with no hinges. I'm pretty sure the burning car was a junker '48 Sedanette fastback with the roof sawed off and a fake top frame added. Which is something of a relief. -- Last edit: 2023-05-11 10:01:37
