I think that's Jerry Titus' car,but I'm not sure??? But it looks a lot like the "Terlingua Racing Team" livery??? |

Oh,and if it is his car,it had the -very rare- 'Tunnel Port' 302 V-8,they never were factory installed, but were available thru the parts department? (racing engine only!) |

Looking at 1969 Sebring 12 hrs entry http://www.racingsportscars.com/photo/Sebring-1969-03-22.html and 1969 Daytona 24 hrs - http://www.racingsportscars.com/photo/Daytona-1969-02-02.html , Jerry Titus drove a red and white Firebird at Daytona - http://www.racingsportscars.com/photo/1969/Daytona-1969-02-02-026a.jpg and nothing at Sebring. The most likely looking Mustang may be the dark blue with gold highlights #33 Daytona car of John McComb (did not finish) - which seems to have had an interesting origin as 1966 Shelby Mustang chassis #12 - http://www.racingsportscars.com/chassis/archive/Shelby%2012.html - provided that page is not mixing different cars and that by 1969 there had been bodywork updates. |
