respectively 1620, "schwerer Kurzhauber" but closer look to type badge length reveals L 334 i think.

According my Google-check (I'm not an truck-expert) it seems, that the 1418 was always the smaller version. nothing is to find about a 1418, based on the heavier and bigger L334-model line.

Location? The windmill is a Dutch-style post mill http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bockwindm%C3%BChle and the landscape is very flat. Otherwise the window of the building is not Dutch style. Otherwise for 2nd it's just a barrack, not a real house...

This kind of post mills is not uncommon in northern France.

m.k. wrote seems a sattelzug, L334 is not, but has some 1418 with this simple cabin Link to "3.bp.blogspot.com" but i agree it is based on L 334. Link to "de.wikipedia.org"

allright, Sattelzug was called LS 334 initially Link to "www.powalski.com"
as it is comprising schwere Hauber LS was often with big cabin espec. tank trucks and (1418) 1620 1622 1624 even 1920 1924 and 1632 in 1969
so if we simply call it LS 334 we are on the safe side, concerning tonnage and HP :)

finally found 1418 and 334 comparisation
Link to "www.benzworld.org"
1418 has long hood of "schwere Kurzhauber" but as ingo says it is kind of in between, as there there are minor differences:
smaller bumper with headlights in grille even the late 1969 model, longer type plate again.
our truck has the big bumpers with oval lights and long indicators 16 tons at least.

yes, as it is kind of interface between 32X and 334
http://www.truck-photos.net/picture/number3642.asp
it has long hood for bigger engine combined with details of smaller 322 lights in grille indicators lower chassis than 334, but we can forget about this details, as we have big Kurzhauber definitely ;)
