Many companies and local body shops offered this kind of conversion of common station wagons. They were meant to be removal vehicles, but many funeral directors used them like a full size hearse. This one could be made by Automotive Conversion or any other of these companies.
ABorkat ◊ 2009-06-30 23:22	This may be the same Abbott & Hast 1973 Ford coach used in a later Columbo episode, Last Salute to the Commodore. Abbott & Hast often rented their coaches for filming, so maybe the producers went back to A&H and rented the same coach. Adam Borkat
