I completely overlooked the fact that part of this was filmed in India. Yeah, Ashok Leyland is a possibility, if this scene was filmed in India. |

It's definitely an Ashok Leyland Cargo. It's right hand drive and the signpainting looks very Indian. |

Have Ashok Leyland used the Cargo name? Their current trucks with the Cargo cab are named Ecomet. http://www.ashokleyland.com/product/trucks This truck also appears in the same scene as the 2012 BMW 3-series: /vehicle_666036-BMW-3-F30-2012.html |

I don't think this is a real Ashok Leyland after all. The Canadian filming took place in British Columbia, according to the IMDB, and it just so happens that International Movie Services, a movie vehicle company based there, has a right hand drive Ford Cargo. IMS's Cargo has two lights on the roof, and so does this one. This truck also has an oval thing on the grille, in the right place to cover the Ford badge. |
