It's a ca. 1948-49 Packard, but not a Victoria, probably an Eight or a Super Eight |

This one has a side molding, some don't. Is that an identifying feature perhaps? |

With the side molding and horizontal pattern grille , it is a Packard Eight four door sedan of 1949 ( twenty third series model 2302).Packards Super Eights of the twenty second series ( 1948) did not have this side molding |

I recently ran accross this picture on the internet. I owned this 1950 packard at the time and I drove it in porky's. I was also in a few scenes in the movie. I was a fun time and a great experience. The car was also used in porky's two, the next day but I was not available to commit to work in that movie. ED |
