Warren (Jack Nicholson) and Helen Schmidt (June Squibb) buy this 35 foot Winnebago for their retirement. Sadly Helen dies, and when Warren's Cadillac also dies, he uses this to get around. One night he decides to go to Denver to see his daughter before the wedding (he approve of her husband-to-be), when she tells his help isn't wanted, he goes on a road trip through Nebraska and Kansas.

Warren: Hey, what are you talking about? What about the Winnebago out there, what do you call that? That's an expensive vehicle. I didn't want to get it but I did. That was completely your mother's idea.
Jeannie: She told she had to pay for like half of it, she said she had to sell some of her stock or something to pay for it.
Warren: Well, that was her decision. I was willing to go as far as the Mini-Winni but no, she had to have the Adventurer! She wanted the whole shebang!
