Maybe a Willys Jeep CJ-2 or something like that, since it has bigger headlights?

I don't think that CJ2A were noticed for new headlights. And the grille shows it can't be anything later.
This one looks really like a MB, but the lights. Maybe some local hand-made customization?

I guess you're right. The grill has more slots. The headlights just seem slightly bigger to me. Could also be a Hotchkiss M201?

I read here http://jeepfamily.cherokee-fr.com/ :
A partir de1954, la Jeep CJ3B à été assemblée ou construite par la société Türk Willys Overland Ltd à Tuzla près d'Istanbul. Cette usine, filiale de Willys Overland assemblait des Jeep CJ 2A et des petits camions (…)
So this could as well be something made in Turkey, at Tuzla factory, a local enhancement of CJ-2A.

(Besides, the M-201, as far as I know, had its headlights look very much like the original ones.)

I noticed the yellow headlights and it made me think of the French-specification cars. Maybe they are not that yellow after all.
