I found this Saurer too but the fenders and bumper aren't matching. Second link says 3 CT 3D, by the way.

here a 1949 Saurer 3 CT 3D same fenders but old style non panoramique windows
Link to "www.fondation-patrimoine.org"
came across Saurer by keyowrd autocar touristique midday, than checked Heuliez Berliet Saviem Autocar DELAHAYE etc. even found Borgward that style french dress.
Citroen P45 Heuliez for e.g. is one notch smaller.
First thought is the best, as the grille is that of a Saurer definitely.
conclusion our 3 CT is interims type old style fenders with new windows allready

All right with me, identifying it as Saurer. Maybe could it be a 3 CT 2D?

Hallo DidierF, think it is 3 CT 1D like in first link as chassis code simply 3 while CT 1 2 or 3 is engine size
http://www.olditour.ch/fahrzeuge/ct2d_motor_1.htm
CT1D comes with 115 HP , CT2D is 125 HP , CT3D 135 HP offered with same chassis

CT3D standing for engine size, not chassis or body
http://www.olditour.ch/fahrzeuge/ct2d_motor_1.htm
but first engine was CT1D used with french army trucks in 1939 and therefore later used by german Wehrmacht

Well then, andrepa, you nailed this: it's a Saurer 3.
