Taken from the Oulton Park race, where the Vauxhall Cavalier ( to the left ) crashed in the start of the race. The rules in this championship said that the cars had to have 2 litre naturally aspirated engines at 300 hp, that revved to 8500 rpm, and the cars had to weigh around 975 kg. Volvo used a 2 litre 5 cylinder engine, which sounded great, these were the great times of BTCC ![]() |
