There wasn't Coupe 2.0 20V in 1993, This engine was only installed from 1988 to 1991. Coupes B3/B4 are called Typ 8B, not 89C!! The car on a pic is a 2.0 or 2.3 |

89C also exists. 8B is maybe for late models and 89C for early ones? |

I have never seen in factory materials 89C. '8B' is even in VIN number of all Coupes from 1988 to 1996. It's exactly the same situation with Coupes from 1980-1987, they all are called 'Typ 85' and they have this name in VIN number ![]() |

OK for the 85 for the coupés, but for this one I do not know: http://www.audifans.com/twiki/bin/view/Audi/AudiPlatforms http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audi#Sportcoup.C3.A9s I am a little lost ![]() -- Last edit: 2007-04-10 12:32:01 |

This is the same with Cabrio. Why you call it Typ 8G? It shouild be called 8CC 8AC or something like that if you use 89C and 85C. Coupe 1980-1987 is Typ 85 Coupe 1988-1996 is Typ 8B And end of topic ![]() |
