GHR 366D does not come up on plate check sites, but is a Wiltshire plate so possibly a Marcos-supplied PR car. The film used 2 cars from memory and the first one crashes, leaving them faced with using the spare, which (we're talking about 45 years or more ago)was the one shown in this photograph. The 'spare' belonged to a chap called Albert Perry and at the time he was my sister's boyfriend. Albert was a fantastic guy and as a young kid (my sister is about 12 years older than me) it was always my dream come true when they turned up at our house and Albert would take me out for a blast. One of my greatest memories! |
