I think that this has been incorrectly identified. I have tried to count the number of radiator shutters either side of the central bar, and I think there are nine. I also think that the rear wings have no spats. These two characteristics will mean it is an R-Type Standard Steel Saloon from B210TN (mid 1953) onwards. I will wait for any responses from anyone who can see ten shutters in each half and no central bar, making it an early Mark VI, but my view is not such. I would also advise Supcoach that the R-Type Continental did not use the Standard Steel Saloon coachwork. It didn't fit. -- Last edit: 2024-11-11 16:20:21 |
