Based on 1985 R5 "Superfive"("east-west"engine),early ones dates back 1986 and known at home as Express;by grille seems a pre-1992 model PS But Extra was denomination for British or Irish market??? |

Yes, they were sold as the Renault Extra here. They were very commonly used by An Post (the post office), replacing the old Renault 4 vans. The yellow colour of this and the ladder rack suggests it may be ex-ESB, as they probably had a lot of them as well. |

It's actually a 1989 Renault Extra (the year on the reg. is more visible on another picture on this site). I checked the reg. on Merlin (http://www.benchmarkcars.ie/auctions/reg.php) and it came up that this car was last taxed in 2004.
