It's a World War 2 US Army 6-ton 6X6. This was a standardized truck design that was built by Corbitt, White, Brockway, Ward La France, and FWD. There were several different versions of these trucks and they were built with both a metal cab and also with a soft top. -- DodgeMan |

Agree with Dodgeman, it's impossible to tell one model from other model without the ID plate! |

Reo also built this truck. |

Maybe we need a way to list them, like with the make "US Army" Would be better than "unknown" forever... -- Last edit: 2012-06-02 21:17:46 |

Choosing one of those companies as a default manufacturer would be better than having it as "US Army" I think. |

As Corbitt was the company initially contracted for the design, maybe Corbitt 6-ton 6x6 truck could work? |

Corbitt sounds good to me. |
