1948-53 Chevy with a camper body mounted on it. If anything the class should be either chassis cab if it's a 3100-3800 or simple truck if it's a 4100 or higher. -- Last edit: 2014-04-09 15:32:22 |

Chevrolet Advance-Design truck (1947-55) with the 1947-53 grille and 2-piece windshield. Hard to say more with such dark and grainy pictures, all the more as they have a wrong ratio... Anyway, the wheel covers indicate a "small" model, i.e. a light-duty truck (½-ton 3100) or a medium-duty one (¾-ton 3600 or 1-ton 3800). galloper's 2nd thumb shows (with some enlightenment) what could be a 1947-50 cowl vent panel. So if it is a 1947-49 model only and as light-/medium-duty-model, its sales name was Thriftmaster, not 3x00. But a (clear) view of the right side of the cab would be needed to specify it. -- Last edit: 2015-07-28 08:07:28 |
