Not disagreeing with this ID nor the general point about Tourers in UK, but there were some postwar Tourers built in Aus - "by Ruskin, by Larke Hoskins and by Richards. There are even two door post war doctor coupe's built by Ruskin. The Australian Larke Hoskins Austin 8 tourer was called the WASP. The Richards tourers were recognised by the curved crease on the doors." - http://www.austin-eight.com/ Going to be interesting if we find some in Aus films or settings. |
