Taking '64 out since the car does not appear to have fully chromed taillamp housings. Wheel covers also are not the '64 style. As between '62 and '63 there is a conflict. On the one hand, there is no door emblem (which would indicate 1962) but the headlamp rims appear only partly chromed, a 1963 feature. Will go with '63 and assume the door emblem is just missing. A good front shot would easily clinch the matter. (Of course, there be non-USA variations I'm not aware of.) -- Last edit: 2014-04-18 22:54:22 |

Unfortunately, sir, we won't have anything better than this. The sequence is filmed from a high store on the other side of the Champs-Élysées. And I deeply regret this, sir! (An almost certain hint to track the lazy or feeble-minded or low bduget French movie in the 60s: the number of sequences filmed in or from offices on the Champs-Élysées, where any real or aspiring cinema tycoon had its big or narrow quarters.) |
