 Plate returns: 1997. 2.0L (petrol) "Maxi" model.

Note: this is a pre-facelift/1st facelift (1988-1996). The 2nd facelift (JG model) went on sale in Australia in February 1997, which means this one likely has a 1997 compliance plate but a late 1996 build date.
