@German (or others familiar with the naming of these vans) members. Is this listed properly? Is the nomenclature similar to the Club Wagon/Econoline? Is Caravelle a passenger version and Transporter is the commercial version? Does the listing need to be adjusted? Main plate is M-6495-VG VOLKSWAGEN TRANSPORTER IV Autobús (70XB, 70XC, 7DB, 7DW, 7DK) 2.5 TDI (102Cv) Fecha primera matricula : 20/11/1997 VIN (número de bastidor) : WV2ZZZ70ZWH052009 Código de motor : AUF | AYC | ACV |

Well, it's not that easy and it depends on the market. In Germany, 'Multivan' is the high-end passenger version, 'Transporter' exists as panel van, passenger version and mix of both. The 'Caravelle' is a cheaper passenger version that is positioned between both. And with the T6.1, VW brought a special edition of the Multivan that looks/is- especially the exterior - cheaper than the Caravelle.... So thumb is a '98 Caravelle 2.5 TDI and main a '97 Caravelle 2.5 TDI. IMO no need for seperate pages. |
