Ends up with the rear half completely squashed. Can we have a picture of that?

Re-registersd as 1996(=96),but that's the Mk1 200 Series,1985-1990,based on the 1984 Honda Ballade(Civic with trunk)

Should be the smaller 213 SE(216 SE was with supplementary fog lamps on front bumper)

When cars are re-registered in Ireland (due to import or whatever), they are registered with the year of manufacture (or original registration - not sure which), so such a car could never be a "96".

It is most certainly a fake registration. Also, the "6" on the plate is very unusual (they don't usually look like that), adding to the likelyness it's a mock-up.

It looks like they covered another number with white (or removed a sticker) then they put the 6 over it.

Also, www.cartell.ie says 96 D 1000 was registered to a BMW.

Nice website, it can be quite useful, like the DVLA site for UK plates :)

It's not great - unless you give them money the site won't tell you anything besides the make and model :(. And the models can often be registered incorrectly - I heard of someone with a VW camper of some sort which is registered as a "Golf", and a lot of Japanese imports get registered as their European equivalent (e.g. Nissan March -> Nissan Micra). I've also seen a lot of cars registered as "other" for the model.

At least the DVLA site says *something* more than that for free.

This site is better: http://www.benchmarkcars.ie/auctions/reg.php

I would say this should be 4 stars or possibly even 5 stars, depending on whether or not the rating is based on its prominence in this episode or the entire series. Generally, within this episode I would give it 5 stars as the entire plot is centered around it.

Yes, I would say that this deserves 5 stars within the episode at least. Has anyone read my previous comment here?

If it is 5 for one episode, the rating would rather be 4, as the series is not about the car.

Should have model origin Japan (as it's really a Honda Ballade), with made in UK tags.

[SD3]

SE is a trim level and not part of the model name.

Oct 85+ side indicators and Oct 86+ shiny insets in bumper side mouldings for S/SE and higher trims on main.
