5 door body, low roof, so I guess 244? |

Quad-rounded headlights are typical of Aro 24 of Nineties',circa by 1992 with that grille(a look shared also with smaller Aro 10) |

In fact Aro 24 were the following: --240(vinyl top,convertible 2-door) --241(vinyl top,convertible,4-doors) --242(pickup,2-doors--practically a pickup-ized 240) --243(metal high-roofed hardtop,3-doors--practically a closed-body 240) --244(metal top,5-doors wagon) |

+ 246 - 5 door body but with high roof in the rear part. http://www.aro4x4.cz/foto/246/n02.jpg Looks like a mix of 243 and 244. -- Last edit: 2006-11-29 16:07:55 |

Its true, had forgotten that 246 version that don't remember here BTW,Weasel 1984,exists or not a 244 (called 320)that have only 2 WD(seems suitable as airport shuttle-taxi)??? Recall also an ARO 24(don't recall numeric name)with extended wheelbase with pick up body(but not with straight sides ,had dropside load bed) |

There are two longer versions, one of them is known as 328 Maxi (5-door), second - 328 Maxi Taxi (10!-door), I don't know if they are 2WD, but rather not. The pickups with extended wheelbase are: 320 (2-door) and 324 (4-door). I've found also a series "33" - which is sold as chassis with cab only. -- Last edit: 2006-12-06 19:19:34 |
