Saw this sketch. Narrator (portrayed by Shaun Micallef): Since his mother moved interstate, Darryl has always made a point of keeping in touch. Darryl (portrayed by Eric Bana): MORNING, MUM, HOW'S THE WEATHER IN SURFER'S?! Darryl' Mother: (from afar) THANKS, DARRYL, HOW'S THINGS WITH YOU?! Darryl: UMMM, PRETTY QUIET! Narrator: Then, it's off to work. (Darryl walks out the door, not noticing a white kitty drinking some milk from a saucer and steps on the kitty and then begins walking with the kitty still stuck to his shoe). Darryl: ALRIGHT, TOMMY, HOW ARE YOU'RE GOING?! Tommy: (noticing a truck approaching from behind Darryl) MATE, LOOK OUT FOR THE TRUCK!!! (Truck's tyres screech, followed by the sounds of a crash). Darryl: (gets back up with the truck's bumper) Sorry about your bumper bar. Narrator: But, there's a spiritual side to Darryl Eastlake as well. (Darryl walks into a church). Darryl: BLESS ME, FATHER, FOR I HAVE SINNED! Narrator: And at the end of a hard day, Darryl unwinds in his own special way. (Darryl sitting in a meditation circle). Darryl: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!! -- Last edit: 2024-02-01 12:09:05 |
