Clearly Amazon-based. I'm leaning towards the 121 at this point. Shouldn't this be made in Sweden for the USA, even if it's a cartoon? -- Last edit: 2014-05-17 15:59:06 |

The wagon was not called 121 (like the sedan), but 221, as by this specification shart http://www.volvoamazonpictures.se/typeinformation/typeinformation.php . |

I stand corrected! As I own a 1962 Volvo 221, I thought they were branded as such all the time. It wasn't, as it turns out that was only the case for 1962. This is either a 1963-69 Volvo 121 [P 220] or a 1963-68 Volvo 122 [P 220] depending on if it has one or two carburettors. As I believe all of these exported to the U.S. had two carburettors, this is very likely a 1963-68 Volvo 122 [P 220]. Edit: The grill points towards a 1967+ model year http://www.volvoamazonpictures.se/modelyears/modelyears.php . -- Last edit: 2014-05-22 09:00:09 |

From 1968 US-cars had a side marker light not seen here. From 1969 the hood didn't have the aluminium strip anymore. So I'd guess it's a 1967 only with the wrong hood then? -- Last edit: 2014-05-22 18:34:33 |
