1988 circa,lasted until 1991(after dropped by range 240 Sedans around 1990,remains only Wagons of that range--renamed simply Polar--,and then replaced by 1st FWD Volvo,the 850 Series since 1992)

 you are basically correct :lol:

this shape is since 1986. Sedans were stopped in 1991, late wagons were named Polar in certain markets only and 850 replaced 740 :)
