The vehicle was apparently the work of a scooter that removed the carriage from the carriage and built a stationary Lorenz engine backwards. The engine probably comes from the period between the two world wars. The question remains whether the vehicle is capable of self-moving. The alleged year of construction of the car (1897) does not correspond to the built-in engine and the gears used.

 He is a indeed a ficticious character that has been created in the 1960s, shortly afterwards a Theatre of Jára Cimrman was established by the people who created the character. Recordings of the plays were aired on tv, usually the first half is dedicated to some new "discoveries" about his life, the second part is a play written by him. All of it is very humorous, usually deadpan - nobody from the theatre actually aknowledges that he is a fictious character.
