It is a rebadged Holden Monaro, a coupé based on the Holden Commodore VT, which itself was originally based on the Opel Omega B. -- Last edit: 2007-02-08 10:39:41 |

All I can say is Holden did a good job on this...along with Bob Lutz getting it over as the GTO. I would have never even known about Aussie cars until I got word of the GTO coming out. Thanks to the US Navy, I got to check them out first hand in 2003 while in Perth and Freo. Just wish we could have gotten the Ute before this all stopped. Trying to rationalize how I can put a Commadore/G-8 in my garage but it would mean getting ride of my GTO and that would be hard to do. Goodaye mate. |

When I first saw this car, I thought this was the Holden Manaro. Then I found out that Pontiac adopted this model as the new GTO. Can't say that I'm a fan of the new look but I appreciate it for getting me to learn more about cars from other countries. Like I remember this car when I first played Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. |

Why is the phantom black version not listed here? The black one is used in a major chase scene |
