it's a Fiat Barchetta. |

Actually this is a Thai film. |

I'm sure, this is not a Fiat barchetta, I've got it and it's very different. Front lights and mirrors are different, barchetta has not the front air grill with chrome border. |

It does look like a Maserati Spider (and that could even be true despite the fact that it's a Thai film) but the lines of the windshield andeverything after that look of, almost as if they modded a Mazda MX-5 or Miata as they call it in the states |

That'd be my guess. |

I'm going to throw in the possibility that it is an MG TF. Reason. Go Here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MG_(car) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:MG_TF_2002.jpg Remember - MG was acquired by a Chinese Automaker in 2k6. |

I think the Barchetta is out, it was only ever produced in left-hand drive. MG TF under NGA is a possibility, but I can't make out any evidence of the side air intakes (TF is mid-engined) and NGA have kept pretty faithfully to the original MG Rover design. |

It can't be a Nanjing MG, because TF production resumed in 2007 and it's not yet on sale. In any case, this car has wide lights immediately under the headlamps, which the TF doesn't have. -- Last edit: 2008-04-02 23:50:08 |

I still feel it is a conversion to make it look like a Maseratie Spyder, either based on a Miata/MX-5 or perhaps (but very unlikely) a Honda S2000 |

New pictures, maybe finally this car will be identified: |

Although the windscreen wipers don't match, it seems to be based on a MG RV8... |

Strange. Fitted at the right place, but stopped on the wrong side! I agree too on MG RV8 |

So "MG RV8 as Maserati Spider"? Brilliant. Definitely based on MG RV8. |
