Riced out. Maybe, "GTO Custom"? 4-stars |

The movie was made in 2004, and in the movie it was the newest model, so this is 2004 |

The front is different from the other 2004 GTO listed for the movie |

I believe this is a picture of it after it was modified from stock form. This movie was basically a 2 hour commercial for the Pontiac GTO. |

Much better than the stock version, this one actually LOOKS like a muscle car. |

That style front end can can be seen on the Pontiac sponsored D1GP GTO http://ultimategto.com/carshows/bondurant04/04_1025.jpg |

Ugh. It has a chin almost as big as Jay Leno's. |

It looks like the 6.0 GTO |

rotfl! You're killing me! But, I'm not big into that "chin" either. My idea of a good mod, is a general theme. My Tempo's theme (so far) is 1950's aliens, UFOs etc. It will be a general purple-black-neon green exterior, with a blue-black interior. So far, I have blue glowing seat covers, blue interior LEDs, green exterior neons and a alien trunk vinyl. |

its beautifull, like the monaro vxr front end, truely a beast to behold |

I dig the aftermarket front end. Would be concerned about hitting curbs, dogs, low flying pelican's or trying to get it into the race car trailer. Best part is the intercooler for the twin turbos. Might not be on this particular GTO but on plenty of others. GTO or Monaro doesn't matter to me I guess. The car still runs great and I enjoy it. Bonus that it has the GTO letters on it. People can whine, bitch and complain all they want. this is what we got as a new GTO. Might not make you happy that is wasn't done the way you had hoped (and I fall into that group as well) but it is what it is. Gm could have hit one outta the ballpark with a retro GTO but in the end having to design a completely new GTO on it's own wasn't gonna even pay for the tooling. Bob Lutz did what he could to at least bring us this. In my book it's still better than any other late model entry from GM including the new Camaro. The Challenger is about the only other car I would consider trading in my GTO for and still not ready to do that. Way to go Holden! At least it's a GM company...which unfortunately is meaning less to me each day. |
