1949 Hillman Minx Phase III Convertible - small low horizintal reflectors were Phase III only. So "anachronistic post war" - yes. And tragic fate for such an elegant automotive creation. |

Left to its own devices it would have been in that state within a year or two anyway. How Rootes had the nerve to continue with that 1932 flathead engine for so long is amazing, but, at least, the engine wasn't anachronistic! -- Last edit: 2014-06-09 19:53:55 |
