In this movie this tractor is called "Earthworm" built by Earthworm Tractor Company, Earthworm City, Illinois. But that's not a real make.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2006-12-02 20:18:48 |

Maybe it's a rebadged Caterpillar. |

The track arrangement is wrong for a Catterpillar. I don't think they had the two idler wheels on top. Monarch tractors had a similar track arrangement http://www.watertownhistory.org/Images/MonarchTractor2.jpg but I can't find enought info to be sure. |

I agree Wrenchhead.....Im quite sure its a Monarch Tractor, Ive found pics of similar tractors, but mostly smaller, a Monarch 50 and 75. They look Identical to the above pic. Just smaller. Monarch was bought out by Allis Chalmers in 1928. |

It is a Caterpillar Seventy-Five [2E] from 1933. http://home.gwi.net/~dclough/26.gif The later D8 is still fairly similar. Link to "www.oldengine.org" |
