It's quite obviously an Excaliber. |

Hmm...I'm not so sure about Excalibur... |

Here it's the most preferred car for weddings, go figure! |

Proving my point exactly, high popularity indicates the presence of no taste at all. My wedding car was a 1965 Daimler Majestic Major. -- Last edit: 2014-07-07 19:52:28 |

Front fenders above the exhaust pipes are not what I found in pictures of Excalibur. Usually the exhaust pipes start above the fenders and end in a "side pipe" under the fender. The bumpers look different, too. But I have no idea what else it could be ;-) Tried to remember what else has been there and came to Clenet like this http://www.clenetclub.com/images/clenet/SerI-Car248-C-1920x1200.jpg -- Last edit: 2014-08-25 15:34:04 |

Maybe another Sparks Roadster? /vehicles_make-Sparks_model-Roadster.html Details seem to match, just a shame we can't see if it has the same funny shaped doors. |

This is a 1980 Sparks Turbo Roadster, Hand built by Ron Sparks of Pacific Motor Works, he built 25 cars that sold for more than $100,000, this car was featured In Flamingo Road TV Series, driven by John Beck with Morgan Fairchild. Also used in several other TV series. Built on a caddy chassis and powered by a 500 CI engine. There are several of these cars left, this one is owned by me and has the Movie car placards attached To the side mounts. I have talked to Ron sparks about the car and he informed me this car was built special the the TV series and the grill on this car was the only one built by his hand personally. Ron worked with Allen Clenet in 70's after leaving Clenet he Formed his own company. Dave Wilson Sr 1-251-597-5682 http://www.carz4you.com |
