With this side trim, it's actually a 1965 Dodge Coronet 440 |

What is that thing in front of the wagon? The remains of a 4th generation Mustang??? |

remains is pretty accurate.. ![]() either Mustang or Capri -- Last edit: 2020-08-21 18:52:09 |

Quite shocking to see, considering it was quite a new car at the time. Must be one of the very first destroyed 4th gen Mustang or Capri in the USA at the time. |

i think so too.. probably a front-end crashed one that they got from some local junkyard |

Most likely it was totaled after an early front end accident. Frame was most likely bent and sold for scrap. Then landed here from a junkyard. |

not really surprising considering how some of them were/are driven.. ![]() -- Last edit: 2020-08-21 22:16:28 |

I don't think it's worth listing, but if it were listed, the Halfstang would be the newest car in this movie. |

The matte painting in this shot was painted by James Cameron, who wasn’t a director yet. |
