I think the designation VAZ Lada in make field could be a good compromise. Many exported VAZ, named Lada, had been re-imported in Russia during the 90's as it said in the "wikipedia AutoVAZ" site, and it seems that Lada brand is getting more importance in nowadays produtions even for Russian market. Therefore I would suggest : e.g. VAZ Lada 2106 Zhiguli for a russian car, beeing VAZ Lada 1600 for exported model |
