Attention, look good hydraulic system of movement of the bucket has only one cylinder, while Fiatallis has two.
The model Allis 840C has only one cylinder to the bucket.
Allis Chalmer was taken over by Fiat Fiat Allis becoming, so the models are very similar, sometimes they are the same only with new acronyms.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiatallis

However Caterpillar also of very similar models, always with only one cylinder for the bucket

hhmm could be , the problem is would have needed a better shot from the side and engine compartment

as cabin's at this time were still often aftermarket and so unreliable for ID

at least it looks like it has fender above front and rear wheels which wasn't that common then

i'll search later for it but don't hold your breath..

meanwhile can you ask your guys at forum about this , found good closeups but no ID mention, might be something locally made

very distinct design with that "box" on top and the front holder which is just vertical

Like this forum there are a few regular contributors on CMN who are real experts on older British market Construction equipment .
They know nothing though about Finnish/Russian road rollers so not going to bother them :)
