dsl ◊ 2014-07-15 16:41	And a shot from DVD extras how-we-made-the-film documentary: Borrowed from a Belfast-based friend of the film director. Plate is genuine - no trace on DVLA but other sites give 1972 VW unknown, red, 1584cc; one thumb show extended roof in raised position. The electrics expired near the end of filming, and despite attempts at revival using the camera car it had to be replaced by the Audi to complete the trip.

dsl ◊ 2014-07-19 11:45	Camper in UK. Could be a Devon Caravette - particularly the small roof extender. But 5th thumb has something written in German - it's difficult to work out where this is, but footage suggests somewhere on or below dashboard or between front seats.
