Former ones were named SAVA J4,since 1968,at beginning of Eighties becomes PEGASO J4(have 1983 sales literature and they're already PEGASO-named |

The strange of J4 into photo was that have the Pegaso horse at centre of grille(all J4 that I knew built into Eighties have horse placed on right edge of grille and J4--that seems those of Seventies--logo don't was there where was placed such as into photo);for me had used an almost puzzled J4,not conform at stock-made item |

That means J4 don't had ended production in 1985,but later in 1987...so means that wasn't replaced by 1987 Pegaso Ekus series--VW LT-coque based--quickly,right,J-2??? BTW,thanks for puntualization,now knew of more on J4 |

SAVA was bought by PEGASO in 1966, but PEGASO conserved the brand SAVA in her vans. SAVA had the license to produce the AUSTIN J4 VAN in SPAIN since 1965. |

The blue j4 of the photo is painted, and not original. The white "j4" in the middle is painted or added by the owner (or other person). The logo is original, and the latest one. This blue van is produced around 1986-1987. |
