Could be as old as '86; unusual choice. s p o i l e r Were we meant to think the main characters' bus would crash into this car? |

no, the bus just destroys the fence. In the Taurus there is a minor character of the movie. |

'86-'88 and '89-'91 had slightly different front fascias. http://www.taurusclub.com/encyclopedia/G1/Front.jpg |

I can barely make out "2V" on the license plate, which suggests it's a '91. |

2VRE531 on bar.ca.gov = 1991 |

Seems to be no longer registered after checking on Carfax. |

Karoomay, that's what's extra good about bar.ca.gov; it doesn't care if the vehicle is or is not currently registered. Carfax and AutoCheck may only show currently registered vehicles. Don't know that to be a fact. Plus Autocheck has about 50 % less results than Carfax. |

I think Carfax does show vehicles that aren't registered (bust still exist). |

That's what I'm thinking. |

Unfortunately, because I constantly get redirected to carfax.eu (which only lets you check the VIN ) I'm now restricted to using AutoCheck. |
